Dena Saslaw Schwartz - Level 2 In the Mood for Color

 Green is a soothing, peaceful color.  I chose to use different hues of green for this card.  I stamped the leaves with different green Distress inks around the edge of the left side of the card panel.  I used watercolor paper because is wanted to smooth out the ink.  Distress ink did not make a smooth impression.  I used my watercolor brush and smoothed out the image.  To give some depth to the images I lined the edge of many of the leaves with a Zig watercolor marker in light gray.  I added the Happy word which I stamped on a piece of vellum paper and stamped the word birthday on another piece of cardstock.  I attached the words to the card and added gems in a semi-circle pattern.
